The ENDS Statements define the strategic directions that the Board has set for the organization. These strategic directions are then operationalized by the management and staff of the organization through an operational planning process. The Board reviews the ENDS Statements annually.

Parkdale Community Health Centre acknowledges that all ENDS hold equal importance, are interconnected, and that progress towards their achievement occurs concurrently.

    • People have the information they need to exercise ownership and control regarding decisions about their health and well-being.

Operational Priorities for 2010 - 2012

  • To improve access to health resources for underserved populations, with a particular focus on newcomers, people with mental health and addictions, and LGBTQ communities
  • To continuously promote quality improvement and identify and support best practices
  • To foster a healthy work environment
  • To develop strategic partnerships to increase visibility, leverage access to services and build community capacity
  • To engage in advocacy as a means to influence public policy, in order to improve the lives of priority populations
