| Good Food Box |

The Good Food Box is a produce buying-club open to anyone who would like to have access to fresh, affordable fruits and vegetables. Every week, Foodshare delivers boxes of fresh produce to Parkdale Community Health Centre for people who have ordered a box in advance.
The program helps improve availability of high quality fresh produce in Parkdale and promotes healthy eating. Foodshare buys the produce directly from farmers or the Ontario Food Terminal, and packs it into reusable boxes which are delivered to various locations across Toronto. A volunteer at Parkdale Community Health Centre collects your money for the food box in advance and makes sure you get your box after it arrives. The contents of the box vary depending on what is in season, and Foodshare aims to include Ontario-grown produce when possible.
If you would like to order a box, come to Parkdale Community Health Centre on Tuesdays between 3:00 and 7:00PM. Fill out an order form and pay for your box in cash. The following Tuesday, your box will be available at Parkdale Community Health Centre from 3:00 and 7:00PM for you to pick up. Please bring your own bags.
For more information, drop by PCHC on Tuesdays between 3:00 and 7:00PM to speak to the Good Food Box Coordinator or contact Andrea via telephone at 416.537.0275, ext 359.
