Each year, Parkdale CHC hosts a free income tax clinic for low income singles and couples during the months of March and April.  This clinic is presented in partnership with West Neighbourhood House.

Individuals or couples can book an appointment to have a community volunteer assist in the completion of your return.  All volunteers are trained by the Canada Revenue Agency.

To qualify, your total income from 2017 must be less than:

• $30,000 - if you are single
• $40,000 - if you are a couple
• $2,500 extra for each additional person

The hours for our Needle Exchange have changed. We are now open during the following times:

Monday: 10:00AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 8:00PM

Tuesday:10:00AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 8:00PM

Wednesday: 10:00AM - 11:30AM and 3:00PM - 8:00PM

Thursday:10:00AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Friday: 10:00AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 4:30PM

The Harm Reduction Exchange Program is open to anyone in the Parkdale community, specifically for substance users and sex workers.  The goal of the program is to reduce the harm associated with substance use by distributing clean supplies (syringes, crack pipes, etc) and provide health promotion concerning HIV/AIDS, Hep C,…

Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre's Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday September 26th at The Great Hall at 1087 Queen St. West. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided.
