The Harm Reduction Program hosts kit making groups twice a week to assemble the syringe kits and crack pipe kits we distribute in the exchange.
The goal of the group is to minimize the harm associated with substance use and to help minimize new infections of HIV and Hep C. The group is lead by peer workers. Participants receive TTC tokens and a light meal for their time. There is a maximum of four participants per group and you must sign up in advance in the exchange or through the peers.
The groups are held on Tuesdays from 12:30PM - 1:30PM (crack pipe group) and Thursdays from 12:30PM - 1:30PM (needle kit group).
